.Discussion...A wetter pattern of afternoon showers and lightning
storms returns to the forecast, with strong to isolated severe
storms possible each day through Wednesday followed by drying late
week. With increasing moisture, min RHs values are forecast to
remain above critical thresholds through Wednesday. Winds turn
south to southwest Tuesday and from the west Wednesday. High
temperatures warm into the 90s with heat index values between
100-105 Tuesday and Wednesday. Very good to excellent smoke
dispersion expected through Wednesday.
Fog potential and other remarks...Widespread fog is not forecast.
Localized visibility reductions due to smoke from new or existing
fires will be possible even if fog is not forecast.
