.DISCUSSION...
Scattered to numerous showers and thunderstorms will persist
across the region today. A few showers are possible on Wednesday,
mainly east of the Mississippi River. Additional shower and storm
chances return Thursday into Friday. Relative humidity values
will largely remain above 50 percent through Friday, before some
decent drying conditions are possible this weekend. Southerly
winds initially today will become westerly and eventually
northerly on Wednesday. Winds return to southerly on Thursday and
Friday.
