This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
the interior to western sections of Puerto Rico. Be aware of
thunderstorms in your area and be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Rainfall...Flooding of urban areas, roads, small
streams, and washes. Isolated flash floods possible. Mainly for
the interior to western sections of Puerto Rico during the
afternoon hours.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible in the
surf zone particularly northern and eastern facing beaches.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday

Afternoon convection will continue to bring periods of heavy
rainfall across the interior to western sections of Puerto Rico
through the weekend, allowing the possibility of flash flooding. Lightning
will be possible with this activity. Windy conditions are
possible late next week. A moderate risk of rip currents continues
through next week for northern and eastern facing beaches.

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Friday through Wednesday
Lightning is possible with afternoon thunderstorm development. Windy
conditions are possible late next week. A moderate risk of rip
currents continues through next week for northern and eastern
facing beaches.
