Quiet weather is expected through the daytime hours
Saturday...before rain chances return Saturday night into Sunday.
Expect decreasing clouds...and northerly breezes...this evening...as
high pressure moves into the region. Lows tonight will bottom out in
the mid to upper 40s. High pressure will keep the area high and
dry...and slightly warmer...Friday and Saturday with highs mainly in
the 70s to near 80. Showers and thunderstorms return to the forecast
area Saturday night...and continue into Sunday as an upper trough
ejects out of the Rockies and into the central and southern Plains.
Severe weather is not expected at this time. Overall best chances
for rain...and heaviest amounts...will favor areas along and south
of the state line.
