...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL IMPACT NORTHEASTERN TUOLUMNE COUNTY
THROUGH 600 PM PDT...

At 533 PM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near
Pinecrest, or 17 miles southwest of Sonora Pass, moving southwest at
5 mph.

HAZARD...Winds in excess of 30 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is
         possible.

Locations impacted include...
Pinecrest.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
