Fire Weather Planning Forecast for S MS and SE LA
National Weather Service New Orleans LA
359 PM CDT Sat Apr 20 2024

.DISCUSSION...
Winds will gradually shift to the northeast and north tonight as
a cold front slowly drifts south across the region. These
northerly winds will continue into Monday. This front will bring
higher rain chances to the area tonight and tomorrow. High
pressure will move over the area Monday night, and winds will
shift to the northeast and then to the southeast by Tuesday.
Humidity levels will drop quite a bit on Monday, with min RH`s
falling into the lower 30s to possibly upper 20s. Should start to
quickly see a rise in moisture as winds shift around to onshore on
Tuesday.
