A weakening cold front will drift across Ohio this morning and
reach the Western Mountains of Pennsylvania during the mid
afternoon hours.

This airmass boundary will bring a general 3 to 5 hour period of
showers and a few thunderstorms that will be focused across the
Northwest Mountains between 11 AM and 4 pm, during the mid
afternoon to early evening over the Laurel Highlands, Central
Mountains and the Susquehanna`s West Branch Valley, and during the
late afternoon through the evening over the Middle and Lower
Susquehanna Valley.

High temperatures today will vary from the low to mid 60s across
the far northwest part of the state to the low and mid 80s
throughout the South-Central Valleys of Pennsylvania.

The showers will diminish tonight and temperatures will cool off
into the 40s across the Northwest third of the state with 50s
elsewhere.

Dry, warm weather is expected for Wednesday through much of
Friday, with the next chance for unsettled weather arriving late
Friday and lasting into the weekend.
