.DISCUSSION...
No hazardous fire weather conditions are expected at this time.
Winds and relative humidity values will remain outside of critical
thresholds.
Isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms are expected for
areas north of a line extending from Columbus to Macon today.
Rainfall totals are forecast to be 0.50" or less. Minimum values
of relative humidity will be in the 35 to 50 percent range both
today and tomorrow, with driest values across the eastern portion
of the state. 20-ft winds will be out of the southwest at 7-11 mph
today, and out of the southwest at 5-7 mph on Thursday. Transport
winds will follow a similar decreasing trend over the next day or
so: out of the southwest at 12-20 mph today, and out of the
southwest at 7-10 mph tomorrow.
