...FLOOD ADVISORY NOW IN EFFECT UNTIL 745 PM CDT THIS EVENING...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall continues.

* WHERE...A portion of north central Texas, including the following
  counties, Dallas and Tarrant.

* WHEN...Until 745 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Water over roadways.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - Although the heavy rain has ended, light to moderate showers
    may lead to additional minor/nuisance urban and street
    flooding for a while longer. Low lying and/or poor drainage
    areas will experience minor flooding in the advisory area.
    Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional
    rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are possible.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Dallas, Fort Worth, Arlington, Garland, Irving, Grand
    Prairie, Mesquite, Carrollton, Richardson, Flower Mound,
    Mansfield, Rowlett, Euless, Desoto, Bedford, Grapevine, Cedar
    Hill, Haltom City, Wylie and Keller.


PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Be aware of your surroundings and do not drive on flooded roads.
