...A THUNDERSTORM WITH TORRENTIAL RAINFALL WILL IMPACT WESTERN RABUN
COUNTY UNTIL 445 PM EDT...

At 354 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a thunderstorm with
torrential rainfall 8 miles west of Clayton, or near Lake Burton,
moving east at 5 mph.

Locations to be impacted include...
Clayton, Mountain City, Tiger, Dillard, Lake Rabun, Lake Burton,
Lakemont, Black Rock Mountain State Park, Tallulah Falls, and
Tallulah Gorge State Park.

Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in
these areas.
