...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 630 PM EDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN LAURENS...SOUTHEASTERN GREENVILLE AND SOUTHERN
SPARTANBURG COUNTIES...

At 616 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 14 miles south of
Downtown Greenville, or 6 miles east of West Pelzer, moving east at
25 mph.

HAZARD...Quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Minor damage to vehicles is expected.

Locations impacted include...
Simpsonville, Fountain Inn, Woodruff, Gray Court, Fork Shoals, and
Princeton.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
