areas of Grimes-Madison Counties Texas and confirmed an EF1 tornado...

The National Weather Service office in Houston/Galveston TX has conducted
a storm survey for the area near Bedias-Madisonville in the
Grimes-Madison County areas of Texas. The survey is in relation to
the severe thunderstorms that moved through the area on April 28, 2024.
An EF1 tornado has been confirmed to have tracked roughly south to north
in the area to the west of Route 90, roughly from CR 115 to the Union
Road area.

A final assessment including results of the survey are expected
to be completed and transmitted via a Public Information Statement
some time on Wednesday.
