PENDER...SOUTHEASTERN BLADEN...NORTHEASTERN BRUNSWICK AND NORTHEASTERN COLUMBUS COUNTIES THROUGH 630 PM EDT... At 605 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Folkstone to near Lake Waccamaw. Movement was southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Burgaw, Surf City, Hampstead, Northwest, Topsail Beach, Point Caswell, Long Creek, Rocky Point, Currie, Castle Hayne, Riegelwood, White Stocking, Wrightsboro, and Montague.
