.A STRONG COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE INTO THE AREA OVERNIGHT.
STORMS ARE ONGOING ALONG AND AHEAD OF THIS BOUNDARY AND WILL
CONTINUE INTO THE OVERNIGHT HOURS. THERE IS THE POTENTIAL FOR
TRAINING OF STORMS WITH THIS SYSTEM ACROSS SOUTHERN INDIANA AND
PORTIONS OF NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY. GIVEN THE VERY MOIST
ATMOSPHERE THESE STORMS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE TORRENTIAL
DOWNPOURS LEADING TO FLASH FLOODING.

THURSDAY...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LOUISVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WATCH FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTHERN INDIANA AND NORTH
  CENTRAL KENTUCKY.

* UNTIL 8 AM EDT /7 AM CDT/ THURSDAY

* STORMS ALONG AND NORTH OF A COLD FRONT WILL SLOWLY MOVE ACROSS
  THE REGION OVERNIGHT. TORRENTIAL DOWNPOURS AND TRAINING OF
  STORMS WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS SYSTEM. WIDESPREAD RAINFALL OF
  1 TO 3 INCHES WITH LOCALLY HIGHER AMOUNTS WILL BE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT.

* THE HIGH RAINFALL AMOUNTS MAY LEAD TO QUICK RISES ON AREA
  STREAMS AND FLASH FLOODING...PARTICULARLY IN URBAN AND LOW LYING
  AREAS.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD
TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION.

YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION
SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED.
