NORTHERN HARRISON AND SOUTHWESTERN WASHINGTON COUNTIES...

AT 837 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE
HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAS ENDED OVER THE ADVISORY AREA. HOWEVER...OVER 2
INCHES OF RAIN FELL IN AREAS FROM MARTINSBURG TO FREDERICKSBURG TO
PALMYRA. PONDING OF WATER AND LOCALIZED FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS
MAY CONTINUE OVER THE NEXT HOUR OR SO.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE ELEVATED LEVELS ON
SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...AND PONDING OF WATER ON COUNTRY ROADS AND
FARMLAND ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS.
