.DISCUSSION...A COLD FRONT WILL APPROACH THE AREA FROM THE
NORTHWEST TODAY. AHEAD OF THE FRONT WINDS WILL BECOME GUSTY OUT OF
THE SSW. SUSTAINED WIND OF 15-20 MPH WITH GUSTS AS HIGH AS 35 MPH
CAN BE EXPECTED TODAY. SOUNDINGS SUGGEST THERE SHOULD BE SOME DRY
AIR MIX DOWN TODAY AND DID LOWER THE DEWPOINTS A BIT THIS
AFTERNOON TO ACCOUNT FOR THIS. FOR NOW IT LOOKS LIKE RELATIVE
HUMIDITY VALUES WILL REMAIN IN THE 28-35 PERCENT RANGE.
HOWEVER...IF MORE DRY AIR DOES MIX DOWN RH VALUES MAY APPROACH
CRITICAL THRESHOLDS. FOR TONIGHT AND TOMORROW THE FRONT WILL MOVE
INTO THE AREA BRINGING WITH IT THE CHANCE FOR SHOWERS AND ISOLATED
THUNDERSTORMS.
