...WIND ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 PM EST /NOON CST/ THIS AFTERNOON
TO 7 AM EST /6 AM CST/ WEDNESDAY...

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR PORTIONS OF SOUTH CENTRAL
INDIANA AND CENTRAL KENTUCKY.

.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT.

WINDS WILL INCREASE THIS AFTERNOON INTO TONIGHT AS A WARM FRONT
LIFTS NORTH OF THE REGION. GUSTS OF 40 TO 45 MPH WILL BE POSSIBLE.
RECENT SATURATION OF THE GROUND COULD LEAD TO WEAKER ROOTED TREES
FALLING...POSSIBLY LEADING TO GREATER RISK OF POWER OUTAGES.

SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL OCCUR AS A COLD FRONT MOVES
THROUGH THIS EVENING INTO OVERNIGHT HOURS. STRONG TO SEVERE
STORMS ARE LIKELY...ESPECIALLY WEST OF I-65. THE MAIN THREATS WITH
THESE STORMS WILL BE DAMAGING WINDS OR EVEN AN ISOLATED TORNADO.
HEAVY RAINFALL MAY ALSO LEAD TO SOME LOCALIZED FLOODING...
ESPECIALLY ACROSS THE LAKE CUMBERLAND REGION WHERE RECENT MELTING
OF A DEEP SNOWPACK HAS LEFT GROUNDS SATURATED.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...WEDNESDAY THROUGH MONDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

SPOTTER ACTIVATION MAY BE NEEDED LATE THIS EVENING INTO THE
OVERNIGHT HOURS.
