Survey Summary:

The National Weather Service in conjunction with Scott County
Emergency Management performed a storm survey across two
concentrated areas of wind damage Wednesday evening. There was also
isolated wind damage throughout the entire county which was not the
focus of the survey.  A secondary area of damage was in far northeastern Scott County near
the Bourbon County and Harrison County line. Winds of 65 to 70 mph
slammed the southwestern portion of the barn picking up and
dislodging a large section of the roof inside panels. Some of the
sheeting was thrown 400 yards down went to the east . There was
minor tree damage as well.  The  National Weather Service would like to thank Deputy Emergency
Manager Mike Hennigan for his help in the survey.

EF Scale:  The Enhanced Fujita Scale classifies tornadoes into the
following categories:

EF0...Weak.....65 to 85 MPH
EF1...Weak.....86 to 110 MPH
EF2...Strong...111 to 135 MPH
EF3...Strong...136 to 165 MPH
EF4...Violent..166 to 200 MPH
EF5...Violent..>200 MPH
