Sporadic straight line wind damage occurred from a pulse storm that
went through the northern half of Orange County on Mothers Day. The
damage began between the north side of the Paoli Airport to Doan
Road and eastward across Highway 37 towards County Road 50E.
Several trees were snapped and or toppled. At 2266 North State Road
37...a 1700 pound horse trailer was flipped over, and a garage
sustained considerable damage. At 2383 North County Road 50 East a
smaller part of a side by side large garage sustained significant
wind damage along with some shingle and tree damage.
Radar reflectivity and velocity signatures compliment the ground
survey crew of straight line winds.
