...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT SIMPSON...WESTERN ALLEN
AND SOUTHWESTERN WARREN COUNTIES...

At 1155 AM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 11 miles east of Russellville to 7 miles
north of Cross Plains. Movement was east at 30 mph.

Wind gusts around 40 mph and torrential rainfall are likely with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Woodburn, Allen Springs, Black Jack, West Fork, Rich Pond, Clare,
Geddes, Greenhill, Mcelroy Ford and Raley Ford.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
