...Gusty Winds Today and Light Icing Possible Late Tonight and
Early Friday Across Southern Indiana...

Gusty winds are expected ahead of a cold front this morning and
early afternoon. Sustained winds out of the southwest will be
15 to 20 mph with gusts of 35 to 40 mph at times. This may make
travel difficult for high profile vehicles traveling on east-west
oriented roadways. Loose objects may be blown around as well.

A cold front will push through the region late this afternoon and
evening and will allow a shallow cold airmass to drop into
southern Indiana and far northern Kentucky. With warmer
temperatures aloft, precipitation tonight across southern Indiana
and far northern Kentucky will fall in the form of light freezing
rain or freezing drizzle.

There may be some impacts to travel, especially on bridges,
overpasses, and secondary roads. Sidewalks and parking lots may
become slick as well due to the light glaze.

Those with travel plan for late tonight or early Friday morning
should keep abreast of the latest forecasts and allow extra time
to reach your destination.
