RAIN...AND 40 MPH WINDS WAS OVER DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE AT 355 PM EDT.
IT WILL MOVE ACROSS SOUTHERN CLARK AND INTO OLDHAM COUNTY AFTER 4 PM
EDT...

AT 350 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR WAS TRACKING A
STRONG THUNDERSTORM OVER DOWNTOWN LOUISVILLE...AND MOVING NORTHEAST
AT 25 MPH.

OCCASIONAL LIGHTNING...BRIEF TORRENTIAL RAIN REDUCING
VISIBILITIES...AND GUSTY WINDS OF AROUND 35 TO 40 MPH...ARE EXPECTED
WITH THIS STORM.

  MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF NORTHERN JEFFERSON...SOUTHERN CLARK AND
  SOUTHWESTERN OLDHAM COUNTIES.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

BRIEF TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IS OCCURRING. EXPECT PONDING OF WATER ON
LOCAL ROADWAYS. DRIVERS SHOULD SLOW DOWN AND TURN ON THEIR
HEADLIGHTS IF ENCOUNTERING HEAVY RAINS.
