...LIGHT SNOW ACCUMULATIONS POSSIBLE BY FRIDAY NIGHT...

A LOW PRESSURE SYSTEM...NOW DEEPENING ALONG THE LOUISIANA
COAST...WILL TRAVEL EASTWARD INTO SOUTHERN GEORGIA BY FRIDAY
EVENING. AS THIS SYSTEM DEVELOPS IT WILL SEND MOISTURE INTO SOUTH
CENTRAL KENTUCKY DURING THE MORNING HOURS. A BRIEF PERIOD OF LIGHT
SNOW IS POSSIBLE DURING THE MORNING...BUT WITH GROUND TEMPERATURES
STILL SEVERAL DEGREES ABOVE FREEZING...THIS FIRST ROUND OF SNOW
LIKELY WILL NOT ACCUMULATE.

THIS SNOW SHOULD TRANSITION TO RAIN BY LATE MORNING BEFORE
CHANGING BACK OVER TO SNOW DURING THE MID TO LATE AFTERNOON HOURS.
THE BEST CHANCE FOR ANY ACCUMULATIONS LIES ALONG AND EAST OF
BOWLING GREEN TO LEXINGTON LINE. TOTALS WILL RANGE FROM A TRACE OF
SNOW UP TO AROUND AN INCH. STAY TUNED FOR UPDATES AS THIS SYSTEM
CONTINUES TO DEVELOP.
