...A LINE OF STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL AFFECT ALLEN...SOUTHEASTERN
WARREN AND SOUTHWESTERN BARREN COUNTIES...

At 1240 PM CDT, radar indicated strong thunderstorms were located
along a line extending from 7 miles east of Mount Victor to 8 miles
east of Portland. Movement was east at 35 mph.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and torrential rainfall likely with these
storms.

Locations impacted include...
Scottsville, Red Cross, Hardcastle, Allen Springs, Oak Forest, West
Fork, Maynard, Clare, Greenhill and Settle.

Torrential rainfall is also occurring with these storms, and may
cause localized flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded
roadways.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
