FRANKLIN...SOUTHWESTERN SCOTT...WOODFORD...NORTH CENTRAL MERCER AND
EASTERN ANDERSON COUNTIES...

AT 340 PM EDT...RADAR INDICATED STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WERE LOCATED
ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 9 MILES NORTHEAST OF FRANKFORT TO NEAR
VERSAILLES TO NEAR LAWRENCEBURG. THE STORMS ARE NEARLY STATIONARY.

WINDS IN EXCESS OF 40 MPH AND HALF INCH HAIL ARE POSSIBLE WITH THESE
STORMS.

LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
FRANKFORT...LAWRENCEBURG...VERSAILLES...MIDWAY...STAMPING GROUND...
FOX CREEK...BON AIR HILLS...JETT...PISGAH AND MILLVILLE.

FREQUENT CLOUD TO GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THESE STORMS.
LIGHTNING CAN STRIKE 10 MILES AWAY FROM A THUNDERSTORM. SEEK A SAFE
SHELTER INSIDE A BUILDING OR VEHICLE.

THESE STORMS MAY INTENSIFY...SO BE CERTAIN TO MONITOR LOCAL RADIO
STATIONS AND AVAILABLE TELEVISION STATIONS FOR ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
