.SIGNIFICANT TRAVEL IMPACTS ARE EXPECTED THIS MORNING DUE TO HEAVY
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS. THERE IS SOME POTENTIAL FOR ROOF
COLLAPSE...ESPECIALLY ON FLAT ROOFS IN A SWATH NEAR AND NORTH OF
THE PARKWAYS IN KENTUCKY.

* TIMING: MODERATE TO HEAVY SNOW WILL CONTINUE TO DAYBREAK AND
  SLOWLY TAPER OFF THROUGH THE MORNING HOURS.

* ACCUMULATIONS: AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 5 INCHES OF SNOW IS
  POSSIBLE...MAKING FOR EVENT TOTALS GENERALLY FROM 7 TO 12 INCHES
  OF SNOW ACROSS CENTRAL AND NORTH CENTRAL KENTUCKY. LOCALIZED
  HIGHER AMOUNTS HAVE OCCURRED ALONG A SWATH FROM HARTFORD TO
  ELIZABETHTOWN AND THROUGH TO GEORGETOWN IN KENTUCKY.

* MAIN IMPACT: PLAN ON SNOW COVERED ROADS AND DANGEROUS TO NEAR
  IMPOSSIBLE TRAVEL CONDITIONS.

* OTHER IMPACTS: NORTH WINDS GUSTING UP TO 20 MPH TONIGHT. THIS
  COMBINED WITH THE WEIGHT OF THE SNOW COULD RESULT IN SCATTERED
  POWER OUTAGES AND DOWNED TREE LIMBS. FLAT ROOF STRUCTURES HAVE A
  POTENTIAL FOR COLLAPSE...ESPECIALLY IN AREAS WHERE GREATER THAN
  A FOOT OF SNOW HAS FALLEN.
