...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1215 PM CDT
FOR NORTHWESTERN JEFFERSON AND SOUTHEASTERN FRANKLIN COUNTIES...

At 1158 AM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Parkway,
moving east at 40 mph.

HAZARD...Tennis ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts.

SOURCE...Radar indicated. Earlier there were several reports of hail
         from golfballs to quarters in Sullivan and east of Sullivan.

IMPACT...People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail
         damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind
         damage to roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
St. Clair, Hillsboro, Byrnes Mill, Cedar Hill, Parkway, Cedar Hill
Lakes, Miramiguoa Park, Dittmer, Lonedell, Scotsdale, Morse Mill,
Oermann, Moselle, Grubville, and Piney Park.

This includes Interstate 44 in Missouri between exits 239 and 242.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 500 PM CDT for east central
Missouri.

A tornado watch remains in effect for the warned area. Tornadoes can
develop quickly from severe thunderstorms. Although a tornado is not
immediately likely, if one is spotted act quickly and move to a place
of safety inside a sturdy structure, such as a basement or small
interior room.

This storm is producing large hail. SEEK SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy
structure and stay away from windows.
