Southeast Gulf of Mexico

.SYNOPSIS...A cold front over the NW Gulf will shift SE across
the basin, reaching from near Tampa Bay, Florida to S Texas
early Sat, stall from the Straits of Florida to S Texas on Sun,
then gradually weaken with its remnants lifting back north as a
warm front through Sun night. Moderate to locally fresh
northeast winds will follow the front into Sat evening. Haze due
to agricultural fires in southeastern Mexico continues across
most of the western Gulf. Moderate to fresh return flow will
dominate for the start of next week, with another front or
trough possibly impacting the western Gulf by Tue.

.THIS AFTERNOON...SW winds 5 to 10 kt in the afternoon.
Seas 3 to 4 ft.
.TONIGHT...SW to W winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 3 ft, subsiding
to 2 ft or less.
.SAT...W to NW winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SAT NIGHT...N winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.
.SUN...NE to E winds 5 to 10 kt. Seas 2 ft or less.

Within 200 nm east of the coast of Florida

.SYNOPSIS...A trough over the SE waters will dissipate tonight.
Otherwise, high pressure over the basin will weaken as a cold
front moves off the SE United States, reaching from 31N74W to near
Fort Pierce, Florida early Sat, then from just SE of Bermuda to
the central Bahamas early Sun. Fresh to strong winds will be on
either side of the front through Sat. Associated building seas
will accompany the winds, up to 8 ft. The front will weaken and
slow, reaching from 31N59W to the central Bahamas early Mon, then
from 29N55W to 23N70W early Tue as high pressure builds in the
wake of the front.

.THIS AFTERNOON...S of 27N, S winds 10 to 15 kt in the afternoon.
N of 27N, SW winds 15 to 20 kt in the afternoon. Seas 2 ft or
less S of 27N, and 3 to 5 ft N of 27N.
.TONIGHT...S of 27N, E to SE winds 10 to 15 kt, shifting to S
late. N of 27N, SW winds 15 to 20 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N,
and 3 to 4 ft N of 27N. Scattered showers and slight chance of
tstms.
.SAT...W winds 10 to 15 kt. Seas 2 ft or less S of 27N, and 3 to
5 ft N of 27N.
.SAT NIGHT...W to NW winds 10 to 15 kt S of 27N, and N 5 to 10 kt
