height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A weakening cold front will
move across the S waters today and dissipate. A low pressure
trough will develop along the central and northern California
coast today, persist tonight and Mon, then gradually weaken Mon
night into Tue. The trough will then drift south over the central
California waters Tue night and dissipate Wed. A high pressure
ridge will persist to the N and NW of the region today and
tonight while gradually weakening. Another area of high pressure
will build in from the W and NW Mon into Wed, then shift to the
southern waters Wed night. A weak cold front will move into the
NW portion late Thu then reach the central waters Thu night. High
pressure will rebuild W of the waters Thu and Thu night.
