height of the highest 1/3 of the waves. Individual waves may be
more than twice the significant wave height.

.SYNOPSIS FOR CALIFORNIA WATERS...A cold front moving E and SE
over the northern waters early tonight will weaken and then
likely dissipate over the central waters later tonight or Sun as
high pressure persists just W of the waters. The high will remain
just W of the region Sun night into Mon night. A low pressure
trough will develop near the southern California coast tonight,
with the trough expanding northward to the central California
coast Sun. The trough will persist along the southern and central
California coast Sun night into Wed night, with the trough
strengthening by Mon. High pressure will build over the NW
portion of the waters Tue night, with the high persisting over
the NW portion Wed into Thu night. Please be advised that the
USCG remote communications facility at Cambria is experiencing
technical difficulties. Technicians are aware of the problem. We
apologize for any inconvenience.
