Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
642 AM MDT Sat May 11 2024

.Discussion...
There are no concerns for critical fire weather conditions over
the next several days. The cool wet pattern will continue through
Sunday with several rounds of showers and thunderstorms affecting
southern Colorado. Snow accumulations will remain above 10000
feet where a few inches will be possible through Sunday.

Temperatures will rebound through the early part of next week
with daily showers and thunderstorms possible over the mountains
An uptick in showers and thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday
and Wednesday night as another system moves across Colorado.
This will bring a couple days of cooler temperatures before
warmer and drier weather returns late week into next weekend.

Afternoon dispersions will remain poor to fair for most areas
this afternoon, though pockets of good will be possible across
southern and eastern portions of the district. Improved afternoon
dispersions can be expected for Sunday with most areas rising into
the fair to good range.
