Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado
National Weather Service Pueblo Co
1052 PM MDT Sat May 11 2024

.Discussion...

An upper area of low pressure will move across the district
during the next 24 hours. There is quite a bit of moisture with
this system and bands of lower elevation rain showers and higher
elevation snows moves will move across the region. By early next
week temperature will begin to warm up and it will dry out.

By mid week another cool pacific weather system will drop in from
the northwest and we could see additional showers over the district
during the late Tuesday/Wednesday time frame.

By late week and into the following week, it should warm up with
temperatures around seasonable values for this time of the year.
Daily afternoon showers and thunderstorms will become possible.

Smoke dispersion will be good or better both tomorrow afternoon
and Monday afternoon.

--- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds ---
