...Patchy fog through 9 AM this morning...

Patches of fog have developed over southern and eastern portions
of central North Carolina this morning, causing visibilities to
drop to between one half mile and one mile in many locations. Over
much of the Coastal Plain, visibilities are as low as a quarter
mile, prompting a dense fog advisory for these areas. This fog
is expected to persist through mid morning.

Motorists across the area are advised to slow down and drive with
extra caution this morning, and be alert for sudden drops in
visibility. Be especially careful near school zones, and watch
for children near bus stops.
