  Northwestern Gilmer County in north central West Virginia...
  Wirt County in northwestern West Virginia...
  North central Roane County in central West Virginia...
  Southeastern Wood County in northwestern West Virginia...

* Until 1000 PM EDT.

* At 931 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Elizabeth,
  moving southeast at 40 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Elizabeth, Grantsville, Arnoldsburg, Millstone, Cherry, Smithville,
  Walker, Mount Zion, Palestine, Newberne, Lucille, Freeport,
  Greencastle, Creston, Morristown, Big Springs, Rockport, Brohard,
  Tanner, and Macfarlan.

This includes Interstate 77 in West Virginia between mile markers 160
and 164.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Prepare immediately for large hail and damaging winds. People outside
should move immediately to shelter inside a strong building. Stay
away from windows.

are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter
inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one
of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for northwestern
West Virginia.
