SOUTHWESTERN WIRT...NORTHWESTERN ROANE AND CENTRAL JACKSON
COUNTIES...

At 1037 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
extending from near Grantsville to near Racine, moving southeast at
30 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Ripley, Spencer, Ravenswood, Sandyville, Reedy, Millstone,
Cottageville, Mount Alto, Evans, Mount Zion, Leroy, and Letart.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter
inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one
of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until midnight EDT for
northwestern West Virginia.
