...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1115 PM EDT
FOR NORTHEASTERN CALHOUN...SOUTHERN GILMER AND CENTRAL BRAXTON
COUNTIES...

At 1104 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 7 miles south of
Cedar Creek State Park, or 10 miles northwest of Sutton, moving
southeast at 35 mph.

HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail from it and other
         thunderstorms in the area.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to
         roofs, siding, and trees.

Locations impacted include...
Sutton, Gassaway, Arnoldsburg, Cedar Creek State Park, Burnsville,
Flatwoods, Shock, Millstone, Wilsie, Rosedale, Exchange, Heaters,
Stumptown, Cedarville, Normantown, and Falls Mills.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Large hail, damaging wind, and continuous cloud to ground lightning
are occurring with this storm. Move indoors immediately to shelter
inside a strong building. Stay away from windows. Lightning is one
of nature`s leading killers. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you
are close enough to be struck by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with this storm, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
