...FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 415 PM CDT THIS AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following
  counties, Coke, Irion, Runnels and Tom Green.

* WHEN...Until 415 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 221 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
    thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream
    flooding. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen just
    northwest of San Angelo, in Grape Creek and Water Valley.
    Expect rainfall amounts of 1 inch or more in San Angelo
    through 415 PM.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    San Angelo, Mertzon, Miles, San Angelo State Park, O.C.
    Fisher Reservoir, Twin Buttes Reservoir, Lake Nasworthy,
    Tankersley, Grape Creek, Carlsbad, Goodfellow Air Force Base,
    Knickerbocker, Arden, Sherwood, Veribest, Orient, Tennyson,
    Us-67 Near The Irion-Tom Green County Line and Harriet.
  - This includes the following Low Water Crossings...
    College Hills and Millbrook, Southwest Blvd and Loop 306,
    Jackson From Knickerbocker to South Bryant, Howard and
    Webster, FM 2334 crossing Ninemile Creek, RM 853 crossing Dry
    Draw, Ranch Road 859 crossing west Rocky Creek, FM 1692
    crossing Sales Branch, FM 1692 crossing Concho River and FM
    1692 crossing The Draw.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.
