And now, here`s your Regional Weather Summary, for West Central
Texas.

Late this morning, temperatures were in the 60s with clearing
skies. Winds were out of the south to southwest at 10-20 mph with
gusts up to 35 mph.

Now, here`s a quick forecast summary, for West Central Texas.

Gusty winds will continue today with plenty of sunshine expected by
this afternoon. Temperatures will warm well above average into
the 80s and maybe even close to 90 for a few locations. The winds
and high temperatures will create elevated to near critical fire
weather conditions for much of the day today so we urge everyone
to practice fire weather safety. Chances for showers and
thunderstorms start up tomorrow with off and on chances continuing
through the weekend. Temperatures will cool behind a cold front
late Thursday with highs Friday through mid-next week ranging
from the upper 50s to mid 60s.
