...STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WILL IMPACT SOUTHWESTERN FRANKLIN...
NORTHWESTERN ANDERSON...SOUTHEASTERN OSAGE AND COFFEY COUNTIES
THROUGH 1000 PM CDT...

At 915 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near Waverly to 10 miles south of Gridley.
Movement was northeast at 50 mph.

HAZARD...Strong wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.

SOURCE...Radar indicated.

IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around
         unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation is possible.

Locations impacted include...
Burlington, Waverly, Williamsburg, New Strawn, Gridley, Westphalia,
Beto Junction, John Redmond Reservoir, Harris, and Le Roy.

This includes Interstate 35 between mile markers 156 and 182.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a building.

A Tornado Watch remains in effect until 1100 PM CDT for east central
Kansas.
