At 1042 PM, National Weather Service radar detected scattered
showers and thunderstorms, some with heavy rain generally in eastern
Oklahoma east of highway 75, also south of I44 and east of the
Muskogee Turnpike and also west of a Eufaula to Hugo line.
Thunderstorms with locally heavy rain were located in Wagoner,
Muskogee and Rogers counties in Oklahoma. The precipitation was in
the Tulsa area. Movement was to the east at around 20 mph. The
average amount where it rained last hour was around one quarter of
an inch with maximum amounts of an inch and a half to two inches.
Coverage, and intensity increased during the last hour. The Tulsa
area forecast for overnight, mostly cloudy, occasional showers and
thunderstorms with temperatures 65 to 72 degrees and northeast winds
up to 10 mph.
