TONIGHT, BRINGING MORE MOIST AIR INTO A LARGE PART OF COLORADO. SHOWERS ARE
LIKELY THIS EVENING, WITH A FEW THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS THE REGION. LOCALLY HEAVY
RAIN IS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING, WHILE HEAVY SNOW IS EXPECTED OVER THE HIGHER
ELEVATIONS OF PIKES PEAK AND IN THE CENTRAL MOUNTAINS.

SOMEWHAT DRIER AIR WILL SPREAD BACK ACROSS THE STATE OVER THE HOLIDAY WEEKEND,
WITH A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS EXPECTED OVER THE AREA.
CONDITIONS COULD BE UNSTABLE ON THE EASTERN PLAINS SATURDAY, WITH SEVERE STORMS
PRODUCING LARGE HAIL POSSIBLE. TEMPERATURES ARE GOING TO WARM SLIGHTLY OVER THE
NEXT FEW DAYS, BUT WILL STILL BE BELOW AVERAGE.

THE FORECAST FOR THE SANGRE DE CRISTO MOUNTAINS. RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS ARE
LIKELY TONIGHT, AND SNOW ACCUMULATION OF 1 TO 2 INCHES IS EXPECTED BELOW 11
THOUSAND FEET, WITH GREATER AMOUNTS IN HIGHER AREAS. LOW TEMPERATURES WILL BE
IN THE LOWER TO MID 30S, WITH SOUTH TO SOUTHWEST WIND 10 TO 15 MPH, GUSTING TO
35 MPH AFTER MIDNIGHT.

FOR THE THE WET MOUNTAINS AND THE WET MOUNTAIN VALLEY. RAIN AND SNOW SHOWERS
REMAIN LIKELY THROUGH THE NIGHT. NO SNOW ACCUMULATION IS EXPECTED. LOWS WILL BE
IN THE MID 30S TO AROUND 40 DEGREES, AND WINDS WILL BE FROM THE SOUTHWEST UP TO
10 MPH.
