...VERY HIGH ASTRONOMICAL TIDES THROUGH SUNDAY...

.LOCALIZED MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW OF LOW-LYING COAST-LINE AREAS
WILL BE POSSIBLE DURING THE MID TO LATE EVENING HOURS THROUGH
SUNDAY DUE TO HIGH TIDES PEAKING NEAR OR ABOVE 7 FEET. HIGH TIDES
SHOULD LOWER ENOUGH BY MONDAY TO DIMINISH THE TIDAL FLOODING
THREAT.

THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SAN DIEGO HAS ISSUED A BEACH
HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW...WHICH IS IN
EFFECT FROM 7 PM PDT THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING.

* TIDES...HIGH TIDES NEAR OR ABOVE 7 FEET AT AROUND 8 PM THIS
  EVENING...AROUND 850 PM FRIDAY EVENING...AROUND 940 PM SATURDAY
  EVENING...AND AROUND 1025 PM SUNDAY EVENING.

* TIMING...THIS EVENING THROUGH SUNDAY EVENING DURING THE TIMES OF
  HIGH TIDE.

* IMPACTS...LOCALIZED MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE
  COAST-LINE...INCLUDING BEACH PARKING LOTS AND POSSIBLY INTO
  SOME BEACH ADJACENT ROADS. PARTICULARLY SUSCEPTIBLE AREAS
  INCLUDE THE PACIFIC COAST HIGHWAY AT SUNSET AND SEAL
  BEACHES...NEWPORT BEACH...OCEANSIDE BEACH...LA JOLLA...AND
  IMPERIAL BEACH.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A BEACH HAZARDS STATEMENT FOR MINOR TIDAL OVERFLOW MEANS THAT HIGH
ASTRONOMICAL TIDES POSSIBLY IN COMBINATION WITH ABOVE NORMAL SURF
WILL LIKELY PRODUCE MINOR FLOODING OF LOW-LYING AREAS ALONG THE
BEACH SUCH AS BEACH PARKING LOTS. COASTAL OFFICIALS SHOULD TAKE
THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONARY MEASURES TO SAFEGUARD THEIR BEACHES.
