JANUARY 2016 CONTINUED A STRING OF MILD MONTHS WHICH EXTENDS BACK
THROUGH SEPTEMBER OF 2015...WITH A MEAN MONTHLY TEMPERATURE AT 3.9
DEGREES ABOVE AVERAGE. THERE WERE NO RECORD MAXIMUM OR MINIMUM
TEMPERATURE RECORDS SET IN JANUARY. NINE DAYS HAD AVERAGE
TEMPERATURES AT LEAST 5 DEGREES BELOW NORMAL WHILE 17 DAYS HAD
AVERAGE TEMPERATURES OF AT LEAST 5 DEGREES ABOVE NORMAL.

A TOTAL OF 0.69 INCHES OF PRECIPITATION FELL...WHICH IS ONLY 0.01
INCHES BELOW AVERAGE. AS FOR SNOWFALL...8.4 INCHES FELL...WHICH IS
2.8 INCHES BELOW THE AVERAGE OF 11.2 INCHES.
