...Date for North Little Rock for Spring 2017...

.Summary...
Over all, spring was a little over a degree above average. However,
what spared us from a higher number was May, which was the only
month in the season with below average temperatures. This was the
third spring in a row with no 90-degree temperatures.

Even though rainfall was well above average, and it was one of the
wettest springs on record, this was the driest spring in three
years. March was the driest month, and April was the wettest.

.Seasonal Temperatures...
The average high temperature was the warmest since 2012, and the
10th warmest on record. The average low temperature was the coolest
since 2015. The average seasonal temperature was the warmest since
2012.

.Seasonal Rainfall...
Even with above average rainfall, it was still the driest spring
since 2014. This spring was also the 7th wettest on record.

.Seasonal Snowfall...
A trace of sleet fell, which marked the first spring snowfall in two
years. Technically, this does count as the 9th snowiest spring.
Since records began in late 1975, only the springs of 2015, 2014,
2008, 1995, 1989, 1987, 1984, and 1982 have seen measurable
snowfall, and the most recent spring with only a trace amount of
snow was 2013.
