...FLOOD WATCH IN EFFECT LATE TONIGHT THROUGH LATE MONDAY
   NIGHT...

The National Weather Service in Medford has issued a

* Flood Watch for a portion of southwest Oregon, including the
  following areas, Central Douglas County, Curry County Coast,
  Eastern Curry County and Josephine County, and South Central
  Oregon Coast.

* Through late Monday night.

* The heaviest rain will occur along the south coast and Coast
  Range.

* Heavy rain combined with snow melt may cause small streams to
  flood. Some roads may become flooded near streams.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.

* Flood Watch for portions of northern California and south
  central Oregon. In northern California, Central Siskiyou County,
  North Central and Southeast Siskiyou County, South Central
  Siskiyou County, and Western Siskiyou County. In south central
  Oregon, Siskiyou Mountains and Southern Oregon Cascades.

* Through late Monday night.

* The heaviest rain will occur over far western Siskiyou county as
  well as the Mount Shasta area.

* Heavy rain combined with snow melt may cause small streams to
  flood. Some roads may become flooded near streams.
