...THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 330 PM CDT FOR
NORTHEASTERN ASHLEY AND NORTHWESTERN CHICOT COUNTIES...

AT 155 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THAT HEAVY RAIN HAD ENDED
ACROSS THE WARNED AERA. WHILE EARLIER FLOODING LIKELY
PERSISTS...STREAM AND BAYOU GAGES IN THE AREA WERE BEGINNING TO
FALL. HENCE WITH THE RAIN HAVING ENDED WATER SHOULD GRADUALLY RECEDE
THRUOGH THE AFTERNOON. UNTIL THEN...PEOPLE SHOULD AVOID DRIVING OR
GOING NEAR FLOODED AREAS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

KEEP CHILDREN AWAY FROM STORM DRAINS...CULVERTS...CREEKS AND STREAMS.
WATER LEVELS CAN RISE RAPIDLY AND SWEEP CHILDREN AWAY.

STAY AWAY OR BE SWEPT AWAY. RIVER BANKS AND CULVERTS CAN BECOME
UNSTABLE AND UNSAFE.

TURN AROUND...DONT DROWN WHEN ENCOUNTERING FLOODED ROADS. MOST FLOOD
DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.
