THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND JUNCTION  HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHEASTERN SAN JUAN COUNTY IN SOUTHEASTERN UTAH...

* UNTIL 1015 PM MDT

* AT 721 PM MDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM PRODUCING
  HEAVY RAIN ALONG STATE ROAD 211 WEST OF THE NEEDLES DISTRICT
  VISITOR CENTER OF CANYONLANDS NATIONAL PARK. FLASH FLOODING IS
  EXPECTED TO BEGIN SHORTLY. EXCESSIVE RAINFALL OVER THE WARNING
  AREA WILL CAUSE MUD SLIDES NEAR STEEP TERRAIN. THE MUD SLIDE CAN
  CONSIST OF ROCK...MUD...VEGETATION AND OTHER LOOSE MATERIALS.

* FLASH FLOODING WILL REMAIN OVER MAINLY RURAL AREAS OF NORTHEASTERN
  SAN JUAN COUNTY.
