FLOOD STATEMENT

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Idaho..
  Boise River At Glenwood Bridge affecting Ada and Canyon Counties.

.The flow is currently receding from a midday high of approximately
8680 cfs associated with runoff from today`s rain, and will fall and
hold around 8100 cfs for the foreseeable future. This action is part
of a flood control effort by the U.S. Army Corp of Engineers
prompted by the very deep snow pack in the mountains. Minor flooding
in low areas near the river will continue.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Persons with interests near these flooded rivers should continue to
take action to protect property.

The Flood Warning continues for the Boise River at Glenwood Bridge.
* until further notice...or until the warning is cancelled.
* At 1:45 PM Thursday the flow was 8410 cfs.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 7000 cfs.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to around 8100 cfs
  by tomorrow morning.
