...The Flood Warning is cancelled for the following rivers in South
Carolina...

  Congaree River At Carolina Eastman affecting Calhoun...Lexington
  and Richland Counties

...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in South
Carolina..

  Pee Dee River At Cheraw affecting Chesterfield and Marlboro
  Counties

  Wateree River At Lake Wateree affecting Fairfield...Kershaw and
  Lancaster Counties


.The area rivers are continuing to gradually fall across the Midland
and Pee Dee Regions. A cold front will bring additional showers and
thunderstorms to the area this afternoon and evening. Rainfall
amounts will be around one half inch, except for higher amounts in
thunderstorms. The rivers will continue to fall over the next several
days.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Safety message...never drive vehicles through flooded areas. The
water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow children to
play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to noaa weather radio...
local media or the internet for further statements and updated
forecasts.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Pee Dee River At Cheraw.
* until Saturday evening...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  2 PM Thursday the stage was 36.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Going below flood
  stage by tomorrow night.
* At 30.0 feet...Portions of Riverside Park become flooded along with
  large areas of bottomland forest around Cheraw.
* At 36.0 feet...Extensive overflow of the left bank will occur and
  large areas of farmland near Cheraw will be flooded. Livestock and
  farm equipment should be moved to higher ground.

The Flood Warning is cancelled for
  The Congaree River At Carolina Eastman.
* At  2 PM Thursday the stage was 113.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 115.0 feet.
* The river fell below flood stage around noon today. The
  river will remain elevated between 113 feet and 114 feet
  through Saturday.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Wateree River At Lake Wateree.
* until late Sunday night...Or until the warning is cancelled.
* At  1 PM Thursday the stage was 100.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 100.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall...Going below flood
  stage by after midnight Sunday morning.
* At 100.5 feet...Yards and docks in low lying areas begin to flood.
  Flooding also occurs along Wildlife Road and piers along Singleton
  Creek begin to flood.
