THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN EL PASO HAS ISSUED A

* ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOOD ADVISORY FOR...
  CENTRAL OTERO COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

* UNTIL 415 PM MDT

* AT 121 PM MDT...YOUR NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR
  ESTIMATED UP TO ONE INCH OF LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER SUNSPOT
  AND MARCIA ALONG THE SOUTHERN CREST OF THE SACRAMENTO MOUNTAINS.
  THIS WILL CAUSE ARROYO AND SMALL STREAM FLOODING ALONG DRAINAGES
  EAST OF THIS AREA FROM THE RIO PENASCO SOUTH THROUGH PERK CANYON
  ROAD.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLOODING INCLUDE...
  SACRAMENTO...
  MAYHILL...
  CLOUDCROFT...
  WEED...
  COX CANYON...
  HAY CANYON...
  BENSON RIDGE...
  DRY CANYON...
  AND BLUFF SPRINGS.

UP TO ONE HALF TO ONE INCH OF ADDITIONAL RAINFALL IS EXPECTED OVER
THESE AREAS IN THE NEXT ONE TO TWO HOURS.  THIS ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL
MAKE MINOR FLOODING.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS IMMINENT. IT IS IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE
YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME
KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS AND HIKERS SHOULD AVOID STREAMS OR
CREEKS.
